Melbourne Central is the large shopping centre along with office and public transport hub in the city of Melbourne. The complex has Melbourne Central Shopping Centre along with the access through Melbourne Central Railway Station which is a part of the City loop underground railway and was also a part of Museum. The Melbourne Central was made by the architect Ashton Raggatt McDougall and the 211 metre which is 692 Ft High makes it the high office tower with distinctive black colour and also two communication masts. The centre of the mall features one of the gross lease area of 55,100 square meters and is owned by GPT Group.

The shopping centre has the massive glass cone with the Coop’s Shot Tower and was built in 1888. The Melbourne Central shopping and Office complex has featured in the sequence of 1997 film by Jackie Chan “Mr Nice Guy”. The large scale development in the entire area is done by city block which is bounded by Lonsdale and is closely linked with the work on City Group.
